Pastor Shawna has worked to bring the word of God to individuals who are incarcerated and assist in the transition process when they are released. She has taught Bible studies for many years at various locations such as House of Hope transition house and currently at GRACE MARKET PLACE. She has written numerous quarterly newsletters to those incarcerated as a means of sharing the Gospel and teachings of Jesus Christ and
Pastor Shawna has been called by God to reach the homeless and ones who are incarcerated to assist in their transition back into society and to help reduce the rate of recidivism in their lives. She believes in walking in the full gospel of Jesus Christ according to John 3:5 where Jesus said we must be born again of water and of the Spirit. This scripture tells us of the need to be born again. Pastor Shawna Sheffield reminds everyone that according to Acts 2:38 which tells us how we are to be born again of the water and the Spirit where it says, “and Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” By walking in this faith, she has seen many, mighty miracles from our Lord Jesus and walks in the expectation of seeing and living many more through the power of the Holy Ghost. Pastor Shawna Sheffield has been walking with the Lord Jesus for over 28 years and has dedicated her life to reaching the lost for the Kingdom of God and helping others who are in need. Pastor Shawna Sheffield was born again and raised up in the Faith under the leadership of Pastor Jeff Arnold in Pentecostals of Gainesville.
