Jesus = Freedom
Do you know that your freedom is dependent on the God of the Bible? That may seem like quite a claim, but it is true. Freedom requires certain foundational beliefs like truth, justice, integrity, free will and overriding value of human life. If any of those are missing, a free society cannot stand. Only the teachings of one book (the Bible) support all of those foundational beliefs, and those teachings hinge on the truth and moral authority of a divine creator God. Your life may have been saved by freedom. Your quality of life is immeasurably improved by freedom. And your freedom was brought about by men and women acting on their faith in the God of the Bible. If the Bible brought about so much good in this world, shouldn’t it stand to reason that this belief which is clearly the best one is also the true one? If you think the Bible is not relevant to you, you need to read this book. .

About the Author

Raised in Southern Arizona, I grew up the son of a small town Baptist Pastor and a Registered Nurse and came to faith at a very young age when I went forward at a revival service without the prompting of my parents.

Moving to a dominantly Mormon town in Southeastern Arizona in my early teen years, I found myself taking stands for my belief with friends and at school from a minority position. Even in the small town church where my dad preached, I found myself an outsider with other kids my age. In many ways, those challenges cemented my faith and relationship with God, and have given me an outsider’s view, a perspective that looks to what the newcomer sees, whether at work, school, church, or in matters of faith.

Having worked in six different full-time occupational fields during my adult life, I have a vast amount of “hard-knock” life experience and have lived with the struggles and obstacles faced as a single father raising children in the working class.

Living in Colorado, I am married, have 5 adult children, and 4 grandchildren. In 2006, with my youngest son in high school, I achieved a life goal by completing a Bachelors degree in business administration. Ironically, I now work in the field of Information Technology.

Actively involved in church ministry, I have taught Sunday school, led music ministries, and currently lead a children’s ministry.
