Author Biography: Michael Shapiro is the author of four non-fiction books. His work appears in such publications as The New Yorker, The New York Times, Sports Illustrated, New York, and Esquire. He is a professor at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and lives in New York with his wife and two children.
