Jack and the Circus.

Jack is a small white dog who lives in a little white cottage hidden away in a valley between the rolling green hills of Wales.

Jack looks after the people who live with him and also spends his time playing with and watching all the other animals that play and meet up on the common opposite his cottage.

Jack has always wanted to see a circus, but after Mr Owl wrote a letter to them, they said they were fully booked and couldn't come to the village.

All the animals decided they wanted to put on their own circus just for Jack.

Derek the fox was a bully and decided he didn't want anyone to enjoy themseleves.

Will Derek manage to ruin the circus plans or will all the animals manage to make their own circus just for Jack?

About the Author

About Jack and the author.

Jack is a real dog and does in fact live in a little white cottage overlooking the common in his village. He takes his human, Stephen Groves, for walks over the common every day, and it's during these walks that the ideas for Jack's stories are born.
