About the Author

Yehleen Padillo Alana, M.A.Ed., MABET, has been an elementary teacher for more than a decade. She has her master’s degrees both in Special Education and Basic Education. Being an educator, she sees how children behave and learn at home and in school, and observed that even at a young age, they have already been dealing with challenges and difficulties in their development, learning, and behavior. She believes that each child has the right and potential to learn and be the best person that he/she can become.
