What are Girls made of? Sugar and Spice and Everything nice? Girls are much more than that. Girl is a collection of elevent inspirational and motivational stories that define what it means to be a Girl. This book also uncovers the obstacles that many Girls often encounter such as being judged on their outer appearance rather than for their inner beauty and strength, often being overlooked, and underestimated. My objective in writing the book Girl is to help girls of all ages realize how important and wonderful they are by promoting their self-esteem, confidence, and resilience. Girls can do anything they set their minds to as long as they believe in themselves, work hard, and never give up on their dreams. As a mother of a little girl I wanted to write this book as I know how difficult being a woman at times can be juggling a career and family. Being a mother, business woman, wife, attorney, and author can be very challenging at times balancing all of these roles. I wouldn't have it any other way. We all have Girl Power within us to do everything we want to in life as long as we never let the world tell us what we can or cannot do or define who we are suppose to be. The only limitations are the ones we place on ourselves. Lets show the world what we are made of and how truly amazing we are. This book is dedicated to my daughter Sienna and to all of the Girls out there who may at times have felt that they were never good enough. You are amazing just the way you are.
