About the Author

George P. Shultz is the Thomas W. and Susan B. Ford Distinguished Fellow at the Hoover Institution, and has had a distinguished career in government, in academia, and in business. He lives in San Francisco. Henry A. Kissinger served as the 56h Secretary of State and is a former Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs. He is a recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, the Presidential Medal of Freedom, and the Medal of Liberty. He divides his time between Kent, Connecticut and New York City.
