This research is critical to the development of our certifications--the Certified Property Manager (CPM®), Accredited Residential Manager (ARM®), and Accredited Commercial Manager (ACoM). It allows us to determine if candidates for those certifications meet the required levels of proficiency--and it forms the basis for educating real estate managers to do their jobs well.
The report includes the tasks most critical to a real estate manager's job and how those tasks vary by IREM certification, organization type, job function, and property type. We've also provided a self-evaluation so that you can rate your own skills as you seek to improve in your job and advance in your career as a real estate manager.
