About the Author

Jay P. DeCima, also known as "Fixer Jay," has long been acknowledged as the undisputed king of fixer-upper houses on the national teaching circuit. Jay is a seasoned real estate investor with nearly 60 years of hands-on experience. At his high-water mark, Jay owned and operated 200 houses and small apartments in Redding, California. KJAY Publishing Company was established to produce Jay’s Fixer Camps, Seminars and Home Study Products.

Dan Shea, owner of more than 80 rental properties in California, began as Fixer Jay DeCima student 25 years ago. He writes and teaches about making money with real estate on the Fixer Jay website. He is also founder and former president of Capital City Wealth Builders, the largest real estate investment club in Sacramento, California.
