About the Author

Theresa Kendig is a painter, illustrator and author. She lives in Summit Township, Waterford, Pennsylvania with her husband Robert Kendig. She went to Cooper Commercial Art School in Cleveland Ohio in the 1960’s and graduated from Gannon University with a degree in Political Science in the 1970’s. She has a large personal portfolio of illustrations, oil and acrylic paintings and other short stories and many illustrated videos published over many years. She writes, produces and paints always with a philosophical bent rich with humor.
She considers herself to be the female embodiment of Kurt Vonnegut, her favorite author. She was invited to his final public speaking event at Kent State University where a friend pushed her forward forcing him to shake her hand. When he aske who she was, she nervously looked down, lowering her eye lids and said, “Oh, I’m nobody, I just love your work and plan to emulate you someday”. He didn’t laugh. He looked at her and nodded in agreement. At that one tiny moment in time they connected.
