About the Author

Blossom N. Fondo is Associate Professor of Postcolonial Studies. She has published extensively on African and African-American Literature, ecocriticism, and feminist studies. Her main research areas are critical theory and gender studies. She is a SUSI and COIMBRA scholar and a member of the European Network of Aging Studies (ENAS). She has been visiting scholar at New York University, USA, and Karl Frazens University Graz, Austria.

Magdaline Bakume Nkongho obtained a PhD in General Linguistics with specialisation in phonology from the University of Yaounde 1. She is a Senior Lecturer and Chair of the Department of English, Higher Teachers’ Training College of the University of Maroua. Her research interests include: phonology, African Linguistics, ELT and Sociolinguistics. Her publications have featured in Engagement with Africa. Akumbu, P, and Chie, E. (Eds.), International Journal of Language and Linguistics, and British Journal of English Language and Linguistics.
