This series of twelve books helps the “Big Kids” in kindergarten and first grade to learn the basic early sight words that traditionally come home as a list and possibly flashcards, too. Each of the twelve books contains “focus words” that are presented with illustrations to help young students to learn to read the assigned words the EASY way. Some young readers are able to memorize a list of words, but do not recognize the sight words in stories. Instant Readers move sight words from the list into books that are easily read.
