About the Author

Kaushik Bhattacharjee works for a large utility in Canada as a Shared Energy Manager with over 15 years of international experience in energy management. He has completed several energy audits and guided implementation of measures and has carried out measurement and verification of energy efficiency projects in various industrial and commercial facilities. He received honorable mention at the Energy Managers of Ontario Excellence Awards held at the Energy Manager forum in Toronto (2015) and was named the “Energy Engineer of the Year” for Canada region by the Association of Energy Engineers, Atlanta, Georgia USA. Bhattacharjee is a CEM (Certified Energy Manager), BEP (Business Energy Professional), CEA (Certified Energy Auditor), CMVP (Certified Measurement and Verification Professional). He has co-authored two books on Energy Management, contributed articles to a number of journals and has made presentations at several IEEE Inter-national Conferences and at the World Energy Engineering Congress on Energy Management. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. He regularly contributes to Energy Engineering, one of the leading journals in the industry.
