The Independent Horsemanship Riding Academy Breed Basics has been revised to be user friendly for beginner through intermediate students featuring I B Hoofinit the 'take home' lesson horse.. Breed Basics introduces the student to the importance of conformation and breed characteristics to function and athletic ability. The final book of the Independent Horsemanship Riding Academy course also introduces the student to five popular breeds as a demonstration of characteristics and different talents. The first part of each chapter provides a 'Lesson' followed by comments from I B Hoofinit a fictitious horse character. I B Hoofinit's comments give the student the horse's perspective in an original approach to horseback riding instruction. Breed Basics is the final book of the course and includes I B Hoofinit's Lesson Plans that refer students to Book (B) and Chapter (C) for various lesson terms and definitions.
