In these times is the story of Samantha Quintero and how she made it through life and difficult times with the help of her two best friends Will and Jude. Sam is a California girl who leaves with her father to London, England for a new job and a new life.
It is there that she meets her new best friends and the boys that she could not live without. Growing up together, they do there best to keep their feelings to themselves, going about there lives as if they are nothing more than friends.
Things start to change when Sam gives into Jude and makes love to him. Not wanting to hurt Will she vows to never chose between them, since she could never pick one over the other.
Soon it becomes a new world for them when Sam's father decides to send Sam, Jude and Will to California as a graduation gift. It is there that she decides to be with both Jude and Will.
