About the Author

Richard Morgan is an ordained Presbyterian minister and a national leader in spiritual autobiography and issues of aging. A graduate of Davidson College, he earned the Master of Divinity and Doctor of Philosophy at Union Theological Seminary, Richmond, Va. He also earned a Masters of Counseling degree at Wake Forest University. He is author of several books in the field of spirituality and aging. Among the books he has written are: best sellers No Wrinkles on the Soul, Remembering Your Story, and No Act of Love is Ever Wasted. Howard Morgan was formerly chairman of Chicago Theological Seminary, and currently serves as a director of the Interfaith Youth Core. A graduate of Lafayette College, he holds the LLD degree from Chicago Theological Seminary, he served as senior vice president of Citibank for 41 years and as director of the American Bible Society and St. Ignatius College Preparatory School. He is also a life director of Lincoln Park Zoo and Executive Service Corps.

John Morgan teaches philosophy and ethics at an inner city community college. He also writes a regular column and blog in the Reading, Pa. newspaper. He has an undergraduate degree in sociology from Albright College, a masters of divinity at Andover Newton Theological School, and a doctorate in ministry from the Lutheran Seminary of Philadelphia. His most recent books include Daybreak and Eventide: A Little Book of Prayer and Worship for Small Groups, Awakening the Soul, and Thin Places, a book of his poems.

Richard L. Morgan is a retired Presbyterian minister, teacher, counselor and current author. He lives in personal care at Redstone, Greensburg, Pa. He has written 20 books, some of which were either published or reprinted by Wipf and Stock. His most recent publication is: Light of Setting Suns: Reflections on the Realties and Mysteries At Ninety Years of Age. He offers pastoral care to the residents where he lives.

John C. Morgan is a writer who happens to teach or a teacher who happens to write, and sometimes both at the same time. He loves teaching because the audience sits in front of him or in a circle, which is more common in his college philosophy classes. He has been writing since the fourth grade when a teacher took pity on him because he had troubles adapting when he moved from an experimental school in the city to a more traditional suburban school. She convinced him his stories were great and funny and should be shared with the rest of the class. Perhaps this explains why to this day he is not sure if he is a writer or teacher. He has been a journalist, teacher, community organizer, and minister over his seventy-six plus years of life. And he has written and published eight books, many articles, and not a few newspaper columns. His most recent book, Resisting Tyranny (Resource, 2018), is about his ancestor, Matthew Lyon, thrown into jail in 1798 for criticizing then President John Adams. He holds three graduate degrees in philosophy, ethics, and religious history. He lives now with his wife and three cats in a small town an hour from Philadelphia. He has three grown children and two grandchildren (also grown).
