In the Names of Jesus

Overview

Names and titles tell us who a person is and what they came to do.

Some are doctors, lawyers, mechanics, plumbers, teachers, and carpenters. Names and titles describe the person and their abilities.

In the time of Jesus, names and titles were even more meaningful. While they described the person and their abilities, they also gave insight into their background and family.

In the Bible, Jesus was called by many names and given many titles. These names and titles give us insight about Jesus as a person, His abilities, and His background.

We need to worship, appreciate, and learn all that Jesus is, all that He is doing for us, and all that we need to be doing for Him.

He has served in full-time church staff positions in Arkansas, Alabama, and Missouri for nineteen years and was an administrator and adjunct faculty member at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas for seventeen years. He continues to pursue his interest in writing with twelve books published, and providing editing services for six other books. Paul has won several major awards in Missouri and Oklahoma, including the Springfield Writer's Guild Writer of the year Award in 2019.
