This book satisfied every need in my variety-hungry soul, and I couldn’t love it more! It’s deep without being somber, witty without being overdone. It’s a perfect balance of romance, intrigue, and suspense, with some historical elements thrown in, all wrapped up in glorious Christian principles that feel natural and uplifting. Once I started, I could not put this book down! I never guessed at the threads that tied the two stories together; it was even better than I imagined! This book has easily catapulted into my category of top favorites, and I know I will enjoy reading over and over through the years.
