About the Author

Ms Negley was born in Chicago and raised in the South and the West Coast. She spent most of her adult life in San Francisco where she married and raised two children. In 2016, she and her husband moved to Beaverton, Oregon to be near their grandchildren and she lives there today. She is an ordained minister and has spent most of her life helping people with spiritual counseling.
Ms. Negley wrote her first poem at the age of 4 and has continued to write all her life. She published her first book of poems, The Heart Has No Rules, in 2021. She lives with her second husband and his two cats. They are Vegas cats and not too fond of her but she has recently been promoted to "Chief Door Opener." She feels that she is getting somewhere with them.
