About the Author

A philanthropist, writer, and former seminarian, he was schooled
by the Holy Ghost Fathers in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. As an author, he
writes to highlight the significant impact that women—including
his mother, female academics, and professors, had on his
upbringing.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from California State
University, Los Angeles, and a Master's degree in Leadership and
Management from the School for International Training (SIT) in
Brattleboro, Vermont. In this book, he takes a stand against
gender inequality, energetically asserting that women are extremely efficient and that
their crucial contributions to society are vital. He has become a passionate advocate for
women's rights. Today, he has a crucial message for high school girls everywhere:
"Beloved little sisters, please do not drop out of school. Keep moving forward while
picturing yourselves walking among the stars. Do not be afraid to climb the ladder. Know
that you are the future warriors who are called upon to demolish the hideous specter of
gender inequality. Be inspired by Michelle Obama, Hillary Clinton, Wangari Maathai,
Simone de Beauvoir, Oprah Winfrey, Nancy Pelosi, and other great women who have
paved the way before you. Remember, it’s only the shallows that are filled; there's always
space at the top.”
