About the Author

VICTOR FUENTES was born in Nicaragua in the golden years of the 20th Century. Since childhood, he felt drawn toward art and literature, developing talents in painting and poetry..
Spurred by the socio-economic crisis of his country, Fuentes emigrated northward toward the U.S. with his backpack full of dreams, poems and paintings, establishing himself in Seattle in 2001. He promptly dedicated himself entirely to writing, painting and interacting with other artists in the multicultural environment of the Pacific Northwest.
Beginning in 2010 with the compilation of his first chapbook LOVE IN FOUR SEASONS, and later with his account of friendship in ARREQUIN Y YO, Fuentes realized another of his dreams—to write books.
When he is not dedicating himself to writing, Fuentes also develops his visual art in exhibitions and galleries in Nicaragua and other countries, using his painting as a means of subsistence.
