Sumiko Hamilton is a native of Waco, Texas, and is currently the founder of Smartie Pants Academy Center, a childcare center for children with disabilities. Ms. Hamilton is a graduate of the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas, where she received a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. She also attended Texas Southern University and Prairie View A&M University in Houston, Texas, where she received master's degree in Public Administration and Educational Administration. She currently resides in Houston, Texas. This is her first children's book in her series.
