"I'm just an ordinary girl." The Sharon Kinne Story
NOTE: DUE TO SOME REVIEWS AND COMMENTS, THIS BOOK HAS BEEN RE-EDITED BY A COLLEGE ENGLISH MAJOR AND BY USING "WHITESMOKE EDITING SOFTWARE." THE AUTHOR APOLOGIZES FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE.
This revised book contains a 61-page photo section featuring b/w photos with descriptions from the trials and the life of Sharon Kinne.
Sharon Kinne (pronounced Ki-nee) was a wife, mother, liar, prodigious lover of men and women, three-time murderess, prison escapee and fugitive.
This true crime manuscript contains extensive character interaction and riveting court and prison scenes. Included are black and white photographs and copies of original documents.
This amazing story begins in Independence, Missouri when Sharon places a gun to the back of her husband's head as he sleeps and pulls the trigger. She casts the blame on her two-and-a-half tear old daughter. The police purchase the lie. Two months later she murders her boyfriend's wife and is ultimately charged in both shootings. She's acquitted in the murder of Patricia Jones and convicted in the death of James Kinne.
Three years, and two lesbian marriages later, Sharon Kinne is released from prison on appeal bond. Riding the system through two mistrials, she departs on a junket for Mexico with a man she meets in Kansas City, while awaiting a third re-trial. On a rage-filled night in Mexico City, she shoots and kills a man she picks up in a bar and wounds a motel desk clerk while trying to execute a get away. Mrs. Kinne is sentenced to 13 years in prison in Ixtapalapa, Mexico. All this before she turns 25-years-old.
On December 7th, 1969 she escapes and remains at large to this day. There still exists an active murder warrant on Sharon Kinne.
I have appeared with this story on Unsolved Mysteries and the Discovery (ID) Channel for its Deadly Women series. It was also turned into a segment for World's Astonishing News (Sekai Gyoten News), a popular show on Nippon Television (NTV) in Japan. The manuscript is 140, 000 words and based on court documents, news accounts and personal interviews with friends, police, lawyers and judges.
