Overview

The return of a long-lost dolphin necklace by a mysterious ethereal stranger and a magical accident hurl 60-year-old Emma Corbell back to the age of 17 with the memories of her entire life intact. Elated, she plots out how she will change the sad, unfulfilled life she'd been living into her senior years. She is immediately met by translucent beings who explain that her presence there is a mistake. She must return to her own time. Standing her ground, Emma refuses. The entities, unable to interfere with her free will, cannot force her to do so.
Emma's extraordinary journey, guided by mystical beings and fueled by newfound personal power, becomes a battleground for the struggle of her lifetime. Each choice she makes in her second-chance existence carries a profound weight, rippling through time and shaping the lives of all those she encounters. The question remains: even if she returns to her old life, will that choice be enough to undo her missteps?
Will Emma navigate the pitfalls of her new mistaken time travel? Will she return to her own time? Or will she cease to exist in either one?

About the Author

This book is Michale’s initial foray into the world of fantasy book writing. She continues to write her cozy mystery book series, The Heartfelt Murder Mystery series, with books one and two currently on sale. They are Third Time’s the Charm, and Focused Hocus Pocus.
Michale calls herself a dreamer. She had always dreamed of being an author. Her writing career had a very unusual start. She began having debilitating panic attacks, so severe she didn’t leave her home for almost two years. During this time she started writing in earnest. Her characters were brave, courageous, and able to face any situation. As she wrote how they bravely moved around in the world, she began teaching herself how she could do the same. As she puts it, “I wrote myself out of my house.” After fleeing her home she did some regional theater, had some small roles on television and continued to write.
Michale now lives in the suburbs outside of Portland, Oregon. She has a son, and an adorable grandson. She enjoys time with family and friends, long walks, and every 48 Hours-type show there is. Her life is simple according to her. She calls it a heartfelt life. After being locked behind her fears for so long, she more than appreciates the simpler things life has to offer. As she puts it, “Joy is found in the heart, not in the trappings of the size of the activity.”
