Overview

Universal's 2013 compilation Icon concentrates on Heart's big '80s hits, adding live versions of "Barracuda" and "Straight On" to balance it out. Also, there are studio versions of "Magic Man" and "Crazy on You," but the emphasis is on the power ballads "What About Love," "Never," "These Dreams," and "Alone." Some big hits of the '80s and '90s are missing but this is nevertheless a good sampler of the group's biggest hits. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine
