About the Author

At the young age of 8, Jess knew she wanted to be an author, and started writing little books for fun. Jess's teachers noticed her talent, and encouraged her to enter contests. By age 10, she began winning awards for her writing. Jess felt a strong calling from God to use her gifts to spread the love of Jesus to children. She told God she would soon, but instead procrastinated. Then one night, Jess prayed to God that He'd use her in ways she could never imagine possible, even if it meant hard times, she would trust Him through it all. In less than a week her family was faced with a potential financial crisis. In the midst of chaos, Jess was in peace and knew God could use this to make something beautiful. Jess prayed and prayed and finally God gave her His answer, which would be to write this book.
