I Was Born a Cat
I Was Born a Cat is a delightfully whimsical and humorous memoir that chronicles the life of an extraordinary feline navigating the trials and triumphs of being a cat in a human-dominated world. With a flair for the dramatic and a penchant for adventure, this cat's tale is one of overcoming language barriers, embracing a glamorous lifestyle, and maintaining a down-to-earth love for freedom, exploration, and, of course, good food.

From her modest beginnings to becoming a beloved companion, this cat's story is full of laughter, charm, and insight into the feline psyche. Despite her astonishingly glamorous personality, she remains true to her cat nature, fiercely independent, curiously adventurous, and wonderfully unapologetic. I Was Born a Cat offers a rare, funny, and heartwarming look into the life of a cat who may be more like us than we think.

Whether you're a cat lover, a self-proclaimed cat-lady, or simply in need of a good laugh, this biography is a must-read for anyone who appreciates the unique bond between humans and their feline friends.

About the Author

Magda Pinacho, born in Sola de Vega, Oaxaca, Mexico, has always had a deep connection with animals, especially cats. Seventeen years ago, she made the journey to the United States, where she now resides in Quincy, Illinois, with her husband, four daughters, two grandchildren, and, of course, one very special cat. Having studied English as her second language in Tucson, Arizona, Catalina describes herself as “just another immigrant here in America—with a dream.” Her love for storytelling and her unique perspective as both an immigrant and a devoted cat owner shine through in this charming and entertaining memoir.
