Johnny Hampton is the esteemed author of The Other Years, Waiting To Open My Eyes, A Dream Amidst Distraction and Leaving Earth, Escaping From Your Gravitational Pull.
Johnny has been an AmeriCorps NCCC Volunteer as well as a member of the United States military, having served as a Senior Airman in the United States Air Force and a Sergeant in the United States Army. His overseas assignments included Japan and South Korea. He is a decorated veteran who has earned 14 military awards in just over 7 years, including the Iraq Campaign Medal and multiple Army Achievement Medals.
Currently, Johnny is a Freshman at Augusta State University, where he is studying English Literature.
