Overview

My book, "I Had To Go There To Get Here-It Is What It Is" consist of a compilation of prayers, poems, poetry, prose, songs and lyrics written over a course of 43 years of my life about what I experienced in life.  The book is a very inspirational book. There are three hundred and thirty two pages of such experiences. The contents consist of
an open letter to my son, my testimony, petitions to GOD, side titled poems, poems about deceased people, poems about my associates, poems about suicidal thoughts, the inner me poetry and poems, poems about companions, inspirational hymns, ballads and rap songs in which tunes are available for some, and finally prayers to GOD.

The book could really be a goldmine for people who are looking for lyrics to set to songs or to use as poetry on greeting cards among other ideas.

Although some of the experiences were negative such as agoraphobia, paranoid schizophrenia, homelessness and caring for an artistic family member, I felt it good therapy to write about my life challenges and experiences in hopes of helping others.
