Overview

Some of the most valuable lessons I have learned in my life have come from the pain I have experienced specifically from heartbreak. While society often associates heartbreak with romantic relationships, we learn that heartbreak may come to us from any relationships including that of family and friends if there is the presence of vulnerability and love. Knowing this, how do we prepare? How do we guard ourselves? Ultimately, how do we heal ourselves and do so enough to not let it alter how we continue to move forward with our lives when heartbreak inevitably arrives at our door again? For me, enduring heartbreak caused by those whom I loved so much left me lost and in that moment I understood the value of healing and finding the tools to help me do so. Writing this book allowed me the space and strength to express my emotions and vulnerability, to be human and to release those deeply rooted emotions that led me to find myself again and heal my heart. Writing this book saved my life, I found my purpose as a result of that pain . My hope is that the steps I shared can help you have the tools that I used to help begin my healing process. My hope is that my vulnerability and experiences let you know that you are not alone and that you are powerful enough to overcome even the most challenging of moments. This book is intended to be interactive and allows the readers to journal and write within the book.
