“Sarah Griffin” is a moderately educated English professor who teaches and resides in an inconsequential corner of the land of Lincoln. When Sarah isn’t regaling students with the wonders of the em-dash, she devotes what is left of her precious time to sharing love and joy wherever she goes and however she can. If you ever meet Sarah and ask her how she identifies herself, she’ll say, “God-fearing, daughter, wife, mother of a son, educator of the disenfranchised, author, female human, and Black--and all in that order.” She likes kitty cats, Linkin Park, Gymboree, and cheap cabernet.
