About the Author

For as long as the Two Grandmothers have known each other, Evelyn has written poems and stories, tucking them away in shoeboxes and secret drawers for safekeeping. From time to time, Evelyn would take the poems out of their hidey-holes to share with her friends and her grandchildren.
When Evelyn read one of her poems with Monica, something magical happened. Monica was inspired to draw pictures to illustrate the story. The Two Grandmothers knew they were on to something special when Monica’s granddaughter fell in love with the rough draft of their very first book and refused to part with it.
The Two Grandmothers hope that you and your special child will enjoy reading this HaHa book and the others that follow. Evelyn’s shoeboxes and secret drawers are full of wonderful poems and stories, and Monica is happiest when she’s creating the illustrations that bring the stories to life.
