About the Author

Thomas Canavan is an award-winning author who has written numerous books for Arcturus, including Miraculous Magic Tricks and The Amazing Book of Science Questions and Answers.

Katie Kear is a young British illustrator. She has been creating artwork for as long as she can remember and hopes to spread joy and happiness with her illustrations. As a child, her favourite memories always involved reading, which led her to pursue a career in illustration. She has recently graduated from the University of Gloucestershire with a First Class BA Hons Illustration Degree, and in her spare time loves finding new inspirational artists.

Under his real name, Sean Connolly, he has won awards for a well-known series of humorous children's science experiments books, and has regularly toured North America to promote them. He lives in rural Wiltshire with his wife and their three children.
