If you have selected this book, you are probably curious
about the reference to statistics. This book will not provide
analytical data that identifies racial disparities amongst
different communities. This book will not preach to you
about what's right or wrong as it relates to your individual
choices in life. It will not judge you on the things you may
or may not have accomplished in your life. It will not
recommend the steps you need to take in your life.
My book will, however, take you through the journey of
my life—from being born in a rural area to moving to an
urban city. Moving to the city was a cultural shock.
Although this transition was difficult, the change became
the foundation for me getting closer to my life's purpose
with faith on my side. My story demonstrates how life's
plan can be altered by external events and people.
This book is my story, and I hope it can help you discover what-
ever your purpose or path is in life.
