I Am No Longer
What if you believed the world could end tomorrow? Imagine that you are a member of the only organization on earth that will survive the imminent and destructive Armageddon. You're confident that every other religion has it wrong, that only you have "the truth". But what if you got kicked out of this "truth"? You're left with their images of black skies, government violence and catastrophic natural disasters, each day wondering if today will be your last.
Follow Isabella's story of going from being a devout and controlled Jehovah's Witness to disfellowshipped and free. "Isabella Estes is no longer one of Jehovah's Witnesses" was the announcement that sent her on the most devastating, yet liberating journey of healing and self discovery that she would ever face.
What is it really like inside this very secretive organization? How do they come to have such power over their members? Why and how are people so severely manipulated, even going so far as cutting off contact with their own children? How do you get disfellowshipped and why does it affect some people so severely? What do other disfellowshipped people think of the organization? I will tell you. This is my story and I am no longer.

About the Author

Isabella was born into the Jehovah’s Witness organization and was raised as a devout member until the age of nineteen. She became an unbaptized publisher at the age of seven in her home congregation in Green Bay Wisconsin. This allowed her to join the Theocratic Ministry School and begin giving her own assigned talks at this time. She dedicated her life to the organization when she got baptized in October 2006 at an Assembly of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Janesville Wisconsin at the age of ten.
From there, she Auxiliary Pioneered as often as she could while also balancing attending public school in Green Bay. Between the ages of seven and sixteen she was asked to be interviewed at four separate Assemblies in Janesville and three separate District Conventions held in Green Bay. After high school graduation she moved to Guyana, South America to do missionary-like work for just under one year.
Today, after being disfellowshipped for eight years, it is Isabella’s mission to be a part of a supportive community aimed at helping others transition out of high control fundamentalist religions and into a healthy lifestyle. Her goal is to gather as many resources as she can to help those who are suffering from traumatic mental, emotional and spiritual fallout.
