About the Author

While Beth Daniels’ first published book was indeed a mystery, it had nothing of the paranormal in it. But then, things that weren’t human or no-longer-human weren’t popular in the 1990s. Well, unless you were Anne Rice, they weren’t. Change the century to the 21st and tastes changed too, including Beth’s when it came to reading material. Her bookshelves still hold a lot of mystery, but they also hold tales of paranormal mystery. While today she writes urban fantasy PI mystery comedy, this workshop goes beyond the single niche to look at what other authors have created and how you, too, can write a mystery story that features things that do indeed go bump in the night.
