About the Author

Draik Moor was born in a small town in Idaho. Mr. Moor began his working years at the age of 8, doing odd jobs at the neighborhood grocery store. While being employed at Albertson�s Inc. Draik became one of the youngest meat department managers at 19 years old. Company transfers took him to all the western states, all the while contributing to his experience and knowledge of the retail meat business.
After 30 years in retail meat management, Mr. Moor, along with his daughter and granddaughter moved to Alaska to �slow down a little bit�. Fate, however, had other plans for everyone. The first week in Alaska brought job offers from every area imaginable, including companies doing business in the �bush �communities throughout the state. Mr. Moor has continued his open-end career in retail meat management to include consulting, management training, private tutoring and group lectures. Although he spends much less time in Alaska and much more time throughout the rest of the country, Mr. Moor does manage to find time to appreciate the beauty and tremendous expanse of his favorite state.
This book represents a small part of the knowledge, expertise and understanding Mr. Moor possesses and is willing to explain to the reader.
