Overview

This book is part of a series designed for professionals and do-it-yourselfers to provide them with what I consider to be a simplified step-by-step process for designing and assembling different types of stairs. Each book will be written and illustrated specifically for the type of stairway specified in the title.
Book 1 - How to Frame and Build Stairs
This book provides you with step-by-step detailed instructions on how to design, layout stair stringers and build a variety of different sized straight stairways. Sections of this book or the entire book will be included in some of the other books as noted.
Book 2 - How to Frame and Build Stairs with Landings
This book includes book 1 and will provide you with step-by-step detailed instructions on how to design, position and build stairs with landings.
This is the first series of stair building books written by Greg Vanden Berge, but they are not the first books he has written about stairs. For more information or to contact us you can visit the website: http://stairs4u.com.
Repeat… Do Not Purchase Book 1 Because It Is Included In This Book!!!

About the Author

Born, raised and still living in Southern California, United States of America.

I don’t know if I would consider myself to be another typical high school dropout, but in the 11th grade I took and passed a high school equivalency test that allowed me to leave school one year early. From then on it was the school of hard knocks and when I finally figured out this wasn’t going to work, became a student of life.

I have over 35 years of experience building, remodeling and repairing apartments, condominiums, residential homes and commercial as well as industrial properties.

My interests are history, psychology, business, construction, gardening and thoroughly enjoy sharing the things I’ve learned with anyone willing to listen. There is nothing better than spending time with friends and family having a wonderful meal, a few beers and intelligent conversation.
