About the Author

Rosanne is a country girl born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. She has been a registered nurse since 1981, working labor and delivery, ambulatory surgery, and home health. In her youth and young adulthood, she always had a horse. She has never had an animal that did not trust her, including her horses, dogs, cats, bunnies, and even a feral cat. Everest’s story is told because he changed from a dog not wanted by four families to a loved, precious, and important member of her and her husband’s family.
