About the Author

1. WHO AM I?
My name is Rodolfo Martin Vitangcol. I am a Filipino. I was born September 5, 1951. I am 70 years old, married with two children. I live in the City of Marikina, Metro Manila.

2. WHAT IS MY EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND?
I spent my 4-year high school in the seminary—Our Lady of Guadalupe Minor Seminary located in Guadalupe, Makati. I am a graduate of Philippine College of Commerce, which is now Polytechnic University of the Philippines, with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Commerce, majoring in Accounting.

3. WHAT IS MY WORK EXPERIENCE?
My first job was with BANK OF AMERICA, a foreign bank in the Philippines located in Paseo de Roxas, Makati. I stayed there for six years, after which I went into sales and got connected with UBIX Corporation, selling plain paper copiers. After working with UBIX for two years, I tried selling as a freelancer, handling various products such as real estate, insurance, subscription magazine, and energy-saving devices.

After almost seven years in sales, I joined a training and consultancy firm by the name of JOHN CLEMENTS CONSULTANTS as a Training Consultant. After two years with this company, I decided to put up my own training and consultancy firm.

Over the course of 35 years now that I have been in this business of training and consultancy, I have trained more than 200 companies in the Philippines to more than 100,000 employees.
