About the Author

William Trombello has trained thousands of students worldwide how to repair trains and locomotives. He currently teaches over 25 classes per year in the U.S. and Canada covering complex locomotive electrical control systems. He has appeared on Union Pacific television broadcasts of Shop Talk and has been an expert witness on numerous occasions. A former senior instructor for the locomotive manufacturer EMD, he is also the author of the children’s picture books The Willow Falls Christmas Train and Trains and Real Locomotives.
