Horse Tales for the Soul, Volume 6 opens with an amazing story about a veteran and his family. When he was called up again for active duty, the family had a horse named Ivan in their backyard. Because dad was going back into active duty, their income was going to drop dramatically so, of course, mom said we have to sell Ivan. You will be amazed when you read what dad said about that idea and how Ivan saved the family during that time.

Among the other 42 stories in this volume is one called Good on Cows by Laine Raia. This is a hysterically funny story about taking a cow horse for a ride on the beach and the funny and surprising things that happened on that ride.

Bonnie Marlewski-Probert is the author of more than 20 books and more than 1000 magazine articles. She is a national speaker, a horsewoman, a teacher and a big supporter of animal-related non-profits. She is NOT political. She is NOT an activist. She is a girl from the Midwest who owes her career to her work with animals and does everything she can to pay that forward.
