About the Author

Quentin Carter is a 30-year-old native of Kansas City, Missouri. Currently, Quentin is serving a 10 year sentence in federal prison under the harsh crack cocaine law. It was while in prison that Quentin felt inspired to write. His strong characters often reflect his own experience on the streets, and he is an inspiration to other inmates, as well as those on the outside. He is scheduled to be released in 2008.
