Virginia Alice started out her writing journey by keeping a diary, writing letters to family and friends, and later producing family and community newsletters. For the past 18 years, she has been a church bulletin editor, and in recent years, the church website admin. Her writing life includes poetry, songs, an epitaph or two, and teaching journaling classes to young writers.

Virg, as she prefers, lives in Texas with her husband and her devoted mini Dachshund, Sammie Jolene. In addition to writing, Virg enjoys sewing small non-clothing projects, photo-scrapbooking, and hiking in the great outdoors.
