About the Author

Sarah Hodgdon’s career in real estate is an outgrowth of her lifelong fascination with other people’s homes, how houses function, and how they are organized. In 2002, she and her husband, Bruce, started investing in real estate, buying homes to rent or renovate and resell. To understand the valuation process of buying and reselling, Sarah spent four years as a real estate appraiser before becoming a real estate agent in 2006.
A graduate of Georgia State University, she grew up in Atlanta and worked in corporate America before embarking on a real estate career. Over the course of her agent career, 85% of her business has been helping buyers purchase homes. She holds an Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) designation from the Real Estate Buyers Council.
