History of the World According to the Druids

History of the World According to the Druids

Yuri takes Joslin, his newly wedded bride, to a special cave in present-day Siberia.  Along comes Yuri’s best man, their three year old son Gerwyn.  Elissa, the golden Sea Dragon queen and Yuri’s  dragon, Ivan, come to help with babysitting as the couple redefines their lives in the context of a world family.  Serving as Queen of the Universe, Joslin embraces painful circumstances as she brings the planet together under duress.  However, in order to regenerate the spirit of the Earth, Joslin must know its history.  Elissa helps her with this project and tells her details that encompass the globe so that Joslin can help the planet thrive, even while under incessant attack.

Long before Earth’s creation, the sea dragons have served as record keepers.  Before being designated as Queen of the Universe, Joslin’s main task involved keeping track of the record keepers and serving as the Earth’s archivist.  For years she has been gathering historical details.  Now her role as wife and mother compels her to examine her work with respect to the world family.  Likewise, she must embark on a journey of self-discovery as a point of reference.  Meanwhile Yuri holds the torch for the big picture, while Gerwyn perpetuates never-ending discoveries in his search for dragon eggs.

Inspired by Gerwyn’s focus, his baby-sitters fall in love.  Elissa and Ivan happily produce dragon eggs for Gerwyn to find.  His discovery leads to the renewal of the tradition from the days of Camelon.  He becomes the first caretaker of this generation of dragons, which is seeded in abbeys and palaces across the world.  This renews the Earth’s spirit in a broader context as the Joslin must elude intergalactic attackers and save the planet from nuclear destruction.
