Since its revelation to the Prophet of Islam, the Holy Qur'an has received - and still receives - great attention from Muslims and Orientalists alike, and many books have been written for the purpose of researching the folds of the Qur'an and its sciences. The book in our hands, by its author, "Abu Abdullah al-Zanjani," is one of these books that is concerned with studying the Qur'an from a historical perspective. It is concerned with tracing the different stages that the Qur'an went through; Beginning with its revelation, writing, and collection, and finally its translation into various languages, it also sheds light on a number of areas of disagreement. Especially the arrangement of the surahs in the Qur'an of the Companions and Followers, and the opinion of some Western scholars regarding the interpretation of the history of the surahs of the Qur'an, as well as the interpretation and understanding of the meanings of the letters mentioned at the beginning of some surahs.
