About the Author

Roddy Flynn is an Associate Professor at the School of Communications, Dublin City University and Chair of Contemporary Screen Industries. He has written extensively on Irish Screen Policy and, with Dr Tony Tracy, is co-editor of the Annual Review of Irish Film and Television for the journal Estudios Irlandeses.



Tony Tracy is Acting Director and co-founder of the Huston School of Film & Digital Media, NUI Galway. He has published widely on Silent, Irish and Irish-American-themed film and produced a number of documentaries and is a regular radio broadcaster on film matters.
