About the Author

Joe Czachowski grew up in Newark, New Jersey, and attended Kean University, leaving after one year. He worked in Belleville, New Jersey, for twenty years in quality control before the company relocated. Upon receiving a grant to continue his education, he graduated in 2000 with a BA in History. Following his wife's passing, he returned to school and graduated in 2003 with a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies. He worked as a graduate assistant on an oral history project dealing with Vietnam veterans and used his interviews to make a documentary film as his thesis, titled Vietnam: Much Confusion, the Search for Relief. Prior to graduation he was asked to teach, a policy usually not followed at the university. He has been an adjunct professor in the History Department ever since. He resides in New Jersey with his son Kevin, and his cat, Lacey.

But it's the detailed captions that make it worth reading, and sharing.
