About the Author

Mary J. Wallace has a bachelors degree in fine art and a masters degree in history, as well as a certificate in archival administration. She has been an audiovisual archivist at the Walter P. Reuther Library at Wayne State University for more than six years. Besides her extensive audiovisual reference work, she designs and edits all of the library's publications. She has authored photographic articles for Michigan History magazine and was recently the curator of an exhibit on the Detroit Lions football history.
Mary and her husband, Jim, have two daughters, Megan and Lily. They live in Troy, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit.
